To be honest, PA has been slightly lacking in exciting, "to the line" finishes this season. That changed in the White Race at Saturday's Paul Short Run
Abigail Brown of Calvary Christian Academy unleashed a big kick to take the win in the day's final varsity race. Brown found an extra gear in the final 50 meters on the long home stretch at Lehigh and captured the victory, running past Neshaminy's Kaylee McCullough.
Brown clocked a time of 19:34, the same time as McCullough, for the win.
